Graham is feeling lonely at the top, but unfortunately he has rediculously high standards that no normal human woman can meet.

This story was taken from the manual of the King's Quest 2 "Gray Box" release. One interesting thing to note for those of you who are familiar with AGD Interactive's KQ2+ remake is the mention of Gerwain, who appears as a character in that version of the game (note: I will be playing the original, not the remake).

  • Who does the artwork for those fancy letters, and where can I find more?

  • @WarriorPoet2 Do you mean the letters in the manual? I don't know who did those. If you're talking about the font I used in the title, it's an alternative style set of the Gabriola font that comes with Windows 7.

  • @Dilandau3000 Yeah I meant the one's that are little pieces of art. Shame there's no source, they sure are cool!

  • @WarriorPoet2 I suspect they were just done by whoever illustrated the manual for Sierra back in the 80s.

    That made me chuckle! XD

  • @TheWhussupman The VGA version wasn't made by Sierra, so my interpretation of the pronounciation is just as valid. :P

  • I just imagine Jerry Seinfeld dressed as Graham, turning away the maidens over tiny faults.

  • Magic Mirrors!

The E-Harmony of the olden days.

  • Let me get this straight: King Graham is setting out on a dangerous journey, risking life and limb, without a sword or his indestructible shield, to rescue a woman whose image he saw for no more than a minute or two, and marry her, despite never having met or talked to her in person. Sounds completely asinine. Let's go for it! (and hope that the kingdom of Daventry has a damn good marriage counselor.

  • Are you Neil Gaiman?

  • @Phanto5692 I never said it wasn't good. In fact, KQ2+ is very good. It's just not "official", for whatever that's worth.

  • All this trouble over a girl?
