I got in an argument on sirlin.net about OSX features and design and a bunch of other stupid crap. One of the things that was praised a lot was Spaces and Expose, which are really old concepts that aren't really that special.

Not to hate on OSX, it has other stuff going for it, even if it's not my cup of tea. Anyways this is just being uploaded to post in that thread.

  • I'm quite the Linux nerd and I'm wondering what distribution you are running for this test.

  • I'm pretty sure Alex is using Ubuntu 9.10

  • Wait, wait, wait, someone was claiming OSX wasn't entirely stolen from linux?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA IT'S HA EVEN HAHA BASED HAHAHA ON UNIX

    -wipes tear from eye-

What's next? Saying Windows 7 invented multiple desktops?

  • This is Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. Some customizations I've made are changes to ComizFusion, the compositing manager, for easy Expose/Spaces access. And Avant Window Navigator for OSX-like dock.

    Kayin, where's the first video?

  • Oh, Kayin, you lovable troll, you. :3
