I dated a girl (for 6 years) that started taking ativan right before we met because a doctor prescribed it. She drank on that medication to amplify its effects. She was a straight A med student from a privileged family. By the third year, she totaled her car, failed out of med school, couldn't hold a job, and could not be counted on or trusted for anything. It robbed her of her personality and self-worth.

Your warning label explicitly states not to drink alcohol with it, so stop it.

Havent drank since, over 5 weeks ago. Hadent drank months prior. That night was extreamly odd that I drank, thanks for caring and good tip!

Anxiety is really a side-affect of an underlying problem. I struggled with anxiety for half my life, and once I figured out it came from things in which I had no control over, I found those things much easier to accept and let go, and now they don't bother me anymore. I sleep better, I feel better, and can enjoy the little things again. All of the years of my self medication prevented me from learning anything about myself or how to overcome the underlying issue.
