Why are we doing this? It's a very simple message of economic fairness. Speaking for myself, I am trying to get the attention of our elected officials. I want them to be as concerned about the issues of working people as they are about their big campaign donors. I want to be able to take my kids to the doctor when they are sick. I want my job back and my home to be secure. We have power if we can stop fighting among ourselves. We are the 99% and we want our country back!

Not to mention my Boyfriend is very politically involved in this society and knows alot of stuff involving the legal system and how it functions (not from experience but from research)

anyone with brains can research the legal system and dig up a ton of cool facts and twisted schemes

This isnt just in Chico...... This is nationwide feel free to search it cuz alot of other areas being occupied are listed on youtube as well.

To be honest my information is just from what i have heard since i live only about 3 blocks from this protest. I dont support this at all and wouldnt be caught dead at a protest like that... i have my own life

I dont have experience with the court system, i have my own family and i make $30-$70 an hour as a licensed masseuse. I thrive quite well

@elizabethminton Hmmm, sounds like you've spent alot of time in courtrooms, maybe your life is as troubled and dysfunctional as the rest of this "Occupy" crowd. Your thought process and reasoning seem to be just as convoluted and unfocussed as theirs. You still didn't answer my question as to precisely why these people were out there and what they think they should be "getting from the government" as you put it.
