Dirt Bike 3.0 - old Macintosh game

I recently found out a co-worker is secretly a rabid Tetris player, so over the weekend I was going to record some videos of different tetris and other puzzle games just as an example to show her what else is out there... then I started just recording ANYthing because I could.

This is some silly little game for the old Mac... I first found it in the 90s when I was in middle school and had a teacher with a Mac lab and a ton of Mac Addict magazines and discs, each disc had all this great freeware and shareware, and the previous version of this game was on one of them. There was no background or anything, it was just a single line which went up and down and looped from one edge of the window then lower from the other side.

You click the mouse to start the engine and to upshift, "Z" is downshift, and your throttle is pushing the mouse up and down on the screen... it takes some getting used to but it's really intuitive after a while :P

@zentx09 the ATI video card in my PowerMac 6500 has composite video output. I just recorded that with my PC's capture card :P

hey man...i used to play this game on an old school Windows 95 laptop....and i recently found out it was available for mac....is there anyway i can play this game...not the 3D one....on OS X?

Probably need a non-intel machine that can run OS 9 (Classic). They never made the non-3D one for OS X to my knowledge. If you have an Intel-based Mac, you'll need to emulate an older Mac.

The key was to not to overshoot that first jump, which was why you were bouncing high off that really steep hill near the finish line ;) you get some extra speed from that little decline and shoot over it :)
