*~Kalevala~* Sung by me

"Kalevala" is the national epic of Finland, a collection of old finnish myths and folklore. The stories were told, and the book is written, in the shape of a long, long song. This melody, simply called "Kalevala", is supposedly the melody you're supposed to use when reciting the songs of Kalevala.
The chanting in the last verse is a small part of the book, telling about Old Väinämöinen and how he spent his days playing and singing.

Arrangement, instrumental and vocals by me. The pictures in the video are illustrations of Kalevala made by famous finnish artists.

Vaikka oletkin aina niin laulanut niin monta biisiä todella kauniisti ihanalla tyylilläsi, tämä kyllä suorastaan tyrmäsi odotukseni. Tosi hyvin onnistuit tuon kaksiäänisyyden kanssa. Aivan liian ihana. :) keep going ja lippu ylhäällä. ;)

Hieno. Hassua kyllä miten runonlaulantaan kuuluu variaatiot tästä sävelmästä. Se mikä koulussa opetetaan on tavallaan vain se peruskulku mutta taidokkaat laulajat käyttävät vaihtelevia mutta samantyylisiä melodioita...
