Sorry, but I don't miss David Gilmour that much here. Van Morrison's vocals are better are usually better than those of any other living human, and White and Difonzo here are superb.

Rick Difonzo is a very cool customer , he plays throughout the concert with ease , not a lot of emotion while playing to a estimated 400,000 people !!!! but lets it go for this track and very understandable when you listen to it. Quality performance from Rick Difonzo throughout the show. Snowy White has been the 5th member of Floyd for over 30 year in my opinion and needs no introduction but i must say i think this is his greatest performance of this track he has done to date. Outstanding *****

i'm a huge gilmour fan, but i absolutely love difonzo's and white's solos here. they're both very skilled musicians and made some incredible solos. i'd love to watch a ten minute video with all sorts of different guitarists trading off their own unique solos to this song.

Outside the sudio and other live recordings, Van's take on ' comfortably numb ' has not been surpassed other than floyd themselves. Berlin '90' was great on video. Only wish I was there. Can't complain much saw Floyd back in 87, 88, and 94 and saw Roger Waters 99 and 2000.

I;ve seen post comparing this to Gilmore. The point of artistic expression is one that does not copy but is inspired to be create. To compare this to Gilbert or Gilbert to this performance shows a total lack of appreciation of talent. This isn't a football game, it is art. I love to hear both.
