Il più grande davvero... non ci sono parole (parlo dal mio punto di vista ovviamente, in my opinion)

Maestro l'amo fortissimamente

@cmhmuscle Yes, I do believe it, but I must say: the Sonata is Difficult - and for some, unplayable.

my favorite Scriabin 4. I like it a lot more than Sofronitsky. I know, blasphemy :)

A truly great interpretation! Very, very touching and masterful in the polyphionic sence! Only the ending sounds a little to "peacefull" for me...

"Unplayable"not in in the purely technical sense;i've also heard excellently competent performances by students...but, IMO,hardly ever does it truly FLY,and curiously, often better the notes are mastered, less it takes off,the Spirit flying always out of reach. I really meant to say the SPIRIT of the piece seems unattainable(but, agreed, this is a matter of opinion),and many distinguished virtuosi have taken a tumble;i've seen more accidents than successes;try,eg: Gilels,on YT,(love him tho i do!)
NOSEhow2live.....I'd love to know how this is "unplayable." I have played it lots, plenty of my students have played it very well including a fine undergrad, it's not anything nearly unplayable.

Amazing, in many ways among the best interpretations of this unplayable piece! Incredibly, Fiorentino even piles on extra difficulties by choice, fleshing out some chords more fully & richly,(naughty!), and putting part of the bass line down an octave in the shattering final climax!!! AND it's live! Ye Gods.
