Can I create my own publishing company, and how then do I get EMI or ASCAP to collect the $? Appreciate if you can explain this, bcz there are ppl outside USA who can make good music that should sell with the right marketing and vocalists. i have just done a few songs in a recording studio where i paid for the session at the end of the session,i got a recordable cd with the tracks on it. is that cd the master tape? if not can i claim it off of the studio?can i go ahead with pursuing a career with the tracks and do shows and stuff please help.
