... and cloning, and brain modification and whatnot.

Sofia, I think this is the first thing we have ever disagreed on, lol. Or it feels like it. Very strange.

  • @arsenalskate123 "Breeding" won't matter for very much longer once genetic engineering becomes commonplace. It will be, in fact, initially *easier* to provide genetic therapy to adults than to engineer "designer babies".

I suspect the only way there will be a delineation among humans will be due to those who embrace enhancement/augmentation and those who, for various personal beliefs, reject it. I don't view one as "better" than the other - I just know I plan to be part of the first group.

  • You know how they say the Prettier they look, the dumber they are? Well, im sorry but i have to say you are really Pretty. I guess ur not thinking every thing straight

  • @arsenalskate123

Theres always hope in Gene Therapy.

  • ur taking transhumanism to another level. if the best breed with the best than slowly and surely, the weak will die off. less diseases too.(not virus/diseases like cancer but lactose intolerance, heart burn, near/far sidedness, etc)

but that's unlikely to happen anytime soon because the ignarant and disabled breed with people as equal or less than themselves

  • You just earned yourself a subscriber (one who needs to cut down on subscribers)

  • I also support transhumanism. Nice video.

  • Chipping a human brain? Depends on who's making the chip, doesn't it? It'd be a really great way to control the population's thinking, wouldn't it? Big Brother would love it!

  • beautiful, smart, ethical girl.

  • interesting video. have you seen this astonishing video on the subject of human immortality?

  • 2:50 I liked the "natural" you put in air quotes. As I see it, everything IS natural. Every other animal alters its environment, and we don't cast them out of the "natural order". Nor should we cast out ourselves. It doesn't mean we could or should condone everything we do, but to label things as unnatural, artificial, or supernatural are just category errors.
