  • Thank you Branka you proved that you are the world's best interpreter of Philip Glass, as well as Erik Satie. Far above other interpretators.

  • All the people complaining, who do you think has the greatest understanding of music? You or the world famous Branka Parlic, considered one of the most accomplished players of contemporary music in the world?

    She is lovely

  • Branka Parlic is the best interpreter of philip glass!

  • Philip Glass is the world's best interpreter of Philip Glass. Branka Parlic is a very good player and interpreter, but Philip Glass is still better at Philip Glass. Of course, I like her interpretations or I wouldn't be listening.

  • @slaytesics for one thing, it's nice to have other people playing his work. but the proof is in the punch: i have the recording of this, on vinyl, that glass first released. parlic plays it just about exactly the same way. i've seen others play it, on youtupe and elsewhere, and they can't compare. the fact that parlic is also a virtuoso with satie is telling. like glass, satie is deceptively simple sounding and very difficult to play with the right spirit.

  • it's a bit like monk's ' well you needn't'

  • Philip Glass is the best interpreter of Philip Glass, he wrote the piece for himself, he is still alive. Why should we like it if someone who isn't him plays his music until he is dead?

  • i love this.

  • Nice playing and very good phrasing. Branca Parlic and Philip Glass: A perfect match!
