Loretta is presented with the Pioneer Award in 1995 by Faith Hill, Lisa Gibbons, Reba McEntire, Pam Tillis and Patty Loveless, on the 30th Academy of Country Music Awards, after her life is discussed (with pictures and videos).

Loretta's husband Mooney was in the hospital at the time, and died the following year.

(On the same show, Garth Brooks was honored with the Jim Reeves Memorial Award!)

    One thing's for sure,Loretta Lynn paved the way for just about every so-called female country artist currently on the charts to do what they do.Loretta rewrote all the rules,basically.
