@ IncognitaEX exactly !! if anyone can do an epic Sci-Fi Romance story, it's him. Especially on a massive scale. 350 Million dollar budget from Paramount studios. live action 3D, the whole works. I have to say this is one of my favorite anime, I have not seen this in almost 30 years. It has brought back that sense of nostalgia for me. Thank you for uploading this!

this anime had incredible animation. that's why i sorta despite 3D rendering and CGI robots in anime nowadays. it seems to counterfeit and lazy when beautiful animation like this is still so relevant and powerful. Ugh....hated that Macross Frontier converted over to CGI for their robots and combat. i'll stick with this, Macross II, and Macross Plus thanks...
