I'm looking at the comments about eating 1 year-old wedding cake, and I'm realizing how gross and weird it must be to people who do not have this tradition. Yes, it is custom in America to save the top part of a tiered wedding cake. You put it in the freezer for a year and take it out on your anniversary and take a bite out of it. We saved ours, but never got around to eating any of it. LOL.
