they should have rebuilt a totally new bigger and better twin towers. not the 5 smaller buildings idea. i like the memorial itself and 2 water pools, but i dont agree with the 5 lower buildings concept. it seems like aquiescing to the terrorists.

@platinum476 If you take away the antenna then Tower 1 is the same size as the twins. With the antenna it is taller than the north tower with it's antenna. Tower 2 is only like twenty feet shorter than the twins roof height with its 90 foot pyramid antenna. Tower 3 is about the size of the empire state building and Tower 4 is 76 feet short of the chrysler building. These ARE massive buildings.

it amazes me how even 10 years later, a lot of people still think this was planned by the government. bull. there is plenty of hard evidence that shows this was a terrorist attack. not an inside job. and to the people who say the new buildings are going to be a target for the terrorists, even if they did build better twin towers, those would've been a target for the terrorists as well, so it really doesn't make much of a difference either way.

@EntertaningAmerica The New Twin Towers weren't going to be built on top of them! The Original Towers Footprints are going to act as a memorial, like it is now today! And the Twin Towers II were going to be built along side or right behind them! That would've been an ultimate Tribute! The WTC site don't need 3 or 4 extra towers!

@sexschuh Yah a design that was voted way behind the proposed Twin Towers II, which 93% of 9/11 families wanted! The new design doesn't go well n' pay tribute to the site, just a waste!

I can tell by a lot of comments on here that 10 years later and a lot of those people still think 9/11 was a terrorist attack - the fact of what happened on 9/11 was that it was a False Flag attack/Inside Job. There's various videos that show accurate proof of this, such as the "September Clues" documentary and the "9/11 Masterminds - Explosive Connections" video.
