Written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
It was ABBA´s single for the U.S. taken from the album "The Visitors" back in 1981. In Europe "Head over heels" was realeased the same time.
I always liked "When all is said and done", though ABBA´s happy sound and the stunning refrains were already lost at that time.
I was thrilled to hear it at the end of the movie "Mamma Mia" when Pierce Brosnan (who really is no singer) sang it as a toast after the wedding with (incredible) Meryl Streep. So the song was missing in the stage show. But on the other hand, in the movie I was missing other songs from the show.
But I don´t complain. My lover and I had fun watching all the shows and the movie too. Though I like the shows more than the movie, to be honest. :-)

So here´s my toast to my old job and my old life. There´s no hurry anymore, when all is said and done.
