i agree bout the directx adn the bit buttttt u need IE7=??? when u can use safari ; opera ; firefox then wmp11???? u need??? lol when u can use itunes...
-
WinZP has Windows Media Player11 IE7 yes i think and DX10 none
-
" wondos vista " lol , nice
-
Yeah, with that kind of system i would definitely switch to vista.
XP cant utilize that processing power, or the amount of ram(You can make it detect all of it, but not use it.), and the graphics card is made for DX10, so staying in XP will make your system work like a Dual Core @ 3.2 ghz(Cant use the cores right.), 4gb ram with a DX9 GFX(Such as the 7900.).
And vista wont turn stable, MS said before its release that it cant be completely bug fixed, thats why Windows 7 is coming out already.

Yup im glad u say so...vista's got some issues still with stability lets hope somethin good on sp2....in its damn heavy os as well no regrets!
But unfortunately i run the q9650 at 3.2, 8gb of corsair dom 960mhz and the 295 gtx with a velociraptor....i dont think keep using xp is a good idea neither i liked xp 64bit ... plus dx10 etc ;/

Windows 3.11 owns XP if we are going to look at it the way you are doing.
Windows Vista utilizes dual cores, ram and gfx in an entirely different and more effective way then XP.. XP is outdated, but i fucking hate how unstable Vista is.. but on the other hand, so was XP before SP2.

hes from australia dum ass lol

winXP is crap, there hardly a performance increase in games and if there is it is not recognizable
That's clearly fake. DX10 cannot run on Windows XP, not matter how much you modify it.

Running DX10-only settings on DX9 is not running DX10.
