"Look at that silly brother of mine. He thinks HE's a jigsaw puzzle." Ah... youth.

When I listen to this, I think I vaguely remember this. Something about the part 'This is a body!' sticks in my mind for some reason. This might not 'stand out' in my memory as much as, say, 'Do You Know What Backwards Means?,' 'Fred, Get Me a 20,' or the gymnast, but something about the music and dialogue 'rings a bell.'

Wow, I remember this! It's so old! No one else will ever post it, I'm sure. Count yourself lucky!

Those kids are so cute!

Aw man. I'd Totally forgotten about this one!
I've seen countless SS clips here on YT for a while now, but for some reason, I welled up at this one.
Maybe b/c I'm looking at these adorable little kids & comparing them to childhood in the 21st century. Childhood just seems so much shorter today cause they're exposed to so much more w/ all this technology.
This is such a sweet little segment. Thank you!

It's a centuries-old French song, called "Frere Jacques". "Thumkin" & the Taz-Mania song (and many others) use its melody. The lyrics are French, and translate as "Brother John, are you sleeping? Ring the morning bells: ding, dang, dong."

Another one I forgot about until I watched it. Wow this one I watched a really really long time ago.

Frere Jacques
The sound glasses clip with the little black boy walking through NYC putting on glasses after hearing sounds starts with a title card kind of like this one. PS, holy shit I haven't seen this film segment since about 1971. Thank you M!

That is when this episode was made! I think I may have seen this once in the mid 80's but didn't get it. Of course, I remember seeing it in the 70's when I was a little kid.

No, it was in color. The last few posts were from a tape I got and the entire episode was in B&W.
