Our journey down the Mississippi River begins. From Lake Itasca, we paddle a couple days through the headwaters staying at a couple campsites along the way.

  • AMAZING! I love it! I'd be so scared of those gators. The camera is SICK! and how did you get all those shots? was it just the three of you guys? I saw the camera on the canoe but it looks like it was shooting a lot more angles than straight in front of you. Anyway... madd props for the madd skills you have putting this video together. Can't wait for the next one. :o)

  • @TheCraftyGemini Thanks Vanessa! We had someone come along to be the designated camera guy. Otherwise it would've been really hard to get the shots that we wanted. Hope all is well!

  • I grew up in a small town called "Portage". Apparently, the town used to be a crossing point for the Native Americans to carry their canoes from one river to another.
