Damping takes place at the headshell for maximum control.

Undamped tonearms have a very colored presentation from vibrations set up by the needle.

Their sound is far from what is possible from the Vinyl LP format.

Undamped or rear damped tonearms are not even close in terms of fidelity, tracking and Vinyl wear.

The Tritium Tonearm is a perfected design for Medium to High compliance cartridges and gives about a 10 to 12 hertz tonearm resonance frequency.

Tonearm weighs about 34 Grams with this 8 gram cartridge and has a 10 hertz arm resonance frequency.

TONE ARM ASSEMBLY:
- The lightest, strongest, least resonant and most accurate tracking pickup arm ever made.
- Tone arm moves effortlessly in horizontal and vertical directions with compressed air and is damped by viscous fluid.

- It is COMPLETELY FRICTIONLESS!

PLATTER ASSEMBLY:
- Precision designed to damp out disruptive energy!
- Platter has a layer each of Aluminum and Brass with a Copper top platter mat.
- Suspended on a Brass/Bronze ball bearing and nylon thrust pad for smooth operation.
- Rotor is designed with a .017" slope to remove record warps and virtually eliminate all subsonic wow.

PLINTH (BASE) ASSEMBLY:
- 2-piece base comprised of 70 lb 1.2" Aluminium plates.
- Layer of ISO-DAMP compound between the layers to dampen and absorb incoming and outgoing vibrations to very low levels.
- Plinth rests on 4 adjustable brass leveling legs.

MOTOR:
- Pulley is precision machined for accurate 33 or 45 RPM playback.
- The High Torque Aluminum motor with a brass base.
