Cell biologist and author Kenneth Miller discusses the scientific theory of evolution and the recent legal battles to teach intelligent design in schools. Kenneth R. Miller is a biology professor at Brown University. Miller is particularly known for his opposition to creationism, including the intelligent design movement. He has written two books on the subject. The first, Finding Darwin's God: A Scientist's Search for Common Ground Between God and Evolution, argues that a belief in evolution is compatible with a belief in God. In Only a Theory, his second on the subject, explores ID and the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District as well as its implications in science across America.

  • @LoricaLady "Again, plz admit to yourself, anyway, that you haven't any idea how or why cranial & spinal nerves, muscles, bones"

if this is what your argument boils down to, i'm afraid it is sorely lacking. There are evolutionary explanations of the histories of all these thigs, if you bothered to research anything outside of answersingenesis.

"you'd rather believe a non existent primal pond & ape were your ancestors. Sad."

And you'd rather believe you're the plaything of a cosmic bastard. Sad

  • Natural Selection creates by randomly trying a huge number of possible designs, and then discarding all the errors. This is not driven by intelligence, that would like saying something more intelligent built a bridge by randomly trying every conceivable possible configuration not knowing what it they would do, letting them collapse every time, and through dumb luck millions of years later, one stayed standing. Nothing with with more intelligence than a human, would create a bridge this way.

  • @IconsOfTeleplay if radiometric dating doesn't work, then nuclear power plants don't work either. so what's your explanation why nuclear power plants exist?

  • @NegativeBeef No religious people are real humans. Only those who match both parts of the species designation "homo sapiens" are real humans. Religious people are "homo stultus".

Ken Miller is a religionist retard. It is a shame how someone who believes in magic is compromising his own science by adhering to a invented deity with an evil character assigned. Not only is he scientifically wrong about "god" but he is also morally bankrupt.

  • Young Earth Creationists are not real humans...

  • @kesav1985 : You've brought your personal problems here. Why?

I dont have enough time to read everything in a completely different field of science and explain dumb heads like you. But I, at least, can surely say that I have enough wisdom to appreciate the works of others in other fields of science and scientific concepts. I dont question scientific methods like you do to defend your own believes. If am skeptic about anything, first I ll try to understand it and then question its authenticity.
