@mattraad As an ex Perth resident, I get more than a little annoyed with cowboy outfits like Lonely Planet rubbishing Perth because it's allegedly dull. True, if you want to shop 24/7, or drink until dawn, you might be disappointed. But the charm of the city, and it's something few on the east coast understand, is the laidback pace, uncluttered beaches and foreshore, and the temperate weather.
