i really hope they make a singleplayer version too, i'd be satisfied with just one episode. 10 years later i still play the original blood on dosbox and blood 2 on my oldskool amd laptop

The source is lost I think. Because they remade Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior into windows versions and ports with the source released for thos games.
Without source, all people can do is reverse engineer the game and guess.
