idk why, but i just don't really like her interpretation. it's well done, but i just don't like it. i'm sorry. but i do have to give her props b/c i'm playing this song right now and it's very difficult.

Playing is a little bit suggish and the intonation is a bit off in some places. Otherwise not bad.

I really like her interpretation of this piece. It is one of my favorites. And some of the greatest players I've heard just don't play it with enough heart. Bravo. This is a wonderful performance!

@psychoof2009 i'm sorry, but anyone that calls it a "song" should not be able to give their opinions on a performance.

I so agree with you on the resolution part. It was as if it got less lyrical, which was the complete contrast of the solo. Nevertheless this piece reminded of how beautiful Max Bruch's work is.

wow. that ending. it doesnt even resolve the last moving line of the soloist. that completely ruined the entire thing. but the rest of it was great. i definitely got some great bowing ideas from watching this!
-
wow, alli! you are so talented :)

Man, somebody desperately needs to compose a recapitulation to this damned movement to prevent that kind of train wreck at the very end.
-
good! your body movements don't entirely match with the music but nevertheless a wonderful version of Bruch!!

really, it is not so bad. I just wish she could play chords. why does she scratch every time?
For me, the ending of this first movement is really the most beautiful, where it merges with the second. The abrupt end to this interpretation really killed it for me...still a good performance overall.

The performance was limited to just the first mvt, so they had to come up with a way to end it. We agree that it would have been better if it could have transitioned straight into the 2nd mvt.
