Lee van cleef also appears in Esacpe from New York. How ironic they both begin with escape.

This movie's got "public domain" written all over it. Without the kick ass box cover I wouldn't have looked it up. So in that respect, it works! It's an effective marketing ploy.

This is the cut version of Mean Frank and Crazy Tony. Don't bother with this one. Any LVC fans should check the original uncut version titled as Mean Frank and Crazy Tony.

@SparrowVanCleef no kidding! Good to know! I'll check that one out. I didn't realize there was a difference.

How come the box cover has Lee Van Cleef with multiple arms? I came into this thinking he was like 4-arms from the X-Men :-(

yeah, insane huh? A lot of these movies have covers / posters with absolutely nothing to do with the story.
I think it was a combination of
1) coming up with a striking image
2) the artist who does the poster has never seen the film
It's a brazen example of the quick-and-dirty low-budget filmmaking ethics of another era... Note also the large number of titles for the same film (rereleases).
It's not purely a negative thing, I think there's a lesson there somewhere for modern filmmakers.
