@JamSession37 all the cars ARE gonna look virtually the exact same. Even Tony Cotman and Marshall Pruett of SpeedTV have confirmed this. Sadly, it's not what the fans all wanted with new designs and more manufacturers, this "new" chassis is just more of the same (Dallara chassis, Honda powerplant). Big Advantage: the cars are 40-50% cheaper. Big Dissadvantage: the cars aesthetically look horrible, and it saddens me to say that I think the current Dallara boats they race look better
This seems to be a great concept for AOWR. Costs need to come down to allow more teams into the sport and get more real drivers driving instead of pay to race drivers. I would prefer multiple total chassis, but with this ingenuity should really shine, which the sport is about anyways. All the cars won't look the same, and hopefully won't sound the same either. This seems to be a step in the right direction to get AOWR back to prominence.
