Little Miss Bouncer loves an announcer down at the BBC. Poor Little Miss B!
BC Hilliam and Malcolm McEachern, better known as Flotsam and Jetsam, formed their duo in 1926. Remembered today as the precursors of Flanders and Swann, their amusing songs play on the contrast between the high notes of Flotsam and the basso profundo of Jetsam.

A Gem ! Thanks so much for posting this. Mr McEachern's voice has echoes of Paul Robeson-rich and wonderfully deep .I heard this first about 40 years ago, but never since - till now. It's been lovely to renew the acquaintance of such a fun song.
