Rita was married to Aly Khan, her daughter Princess Yasmin is the product of that union. And yes, Rita was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease at 62.

@Muirmaiden Rita actually began suffering from early Altzheimer's diease in her early forties. It took 20 years for the doctors to figure out what was wrong with her. It is so sad that such a terrible diease ruined Rita's career the latter part of her life. I stil love you Rita and always will! RIP

Rita is my all time favourite movie goddess.

Nice choice of photos-are some hand coloured by yourself? Anita Ellis always did a great job dubbing Rita, though some say her own voice, whilst not trained or particularly strong, was good enough to not need dubbing.

Maybe Rita's studio didn't want her to think she was talented enough to sing as well.

Her relationship with Columbia's boss Harry Cohn was always suppose to be very uneasy.

crazay1, Gisele is not an actress. I am a fan of hers too, but she is not like Rita. Simply because Rita was a genius, a woman ahead of her time, not just a beautiful girl with a nice hairstyle. Unfortunately, this is how most people today remember her. When they remember. The world is definitively getting stupid every day.
