He got his comedic career started right here in Toronto,Canada.He was called the Canadian Comic, something like that...then after he became more established he returned to the states.True fact.

Agree with you prossfoster
in my opinion, this was when funny was really funny. todays so called comedy shows suck. you have to have cursing and swearing and filthy it seems to be funny. I'd rather watch re runs of red skeleton or Carol Burnett; or the Dick Van Dyke show, than watch any of todays so called comedy shows.
I know many won't agree with me, and I could care less----if you need filthy language to make you laugh----shows where your heart is
