It's not about how much it costs, it's how much you're getting paid. Inflation is not the big problem here, we're talking about an economical recession with pay cuts and job losses at record highs.

the economy? Why are the Pistons and Tigers drawing so well then? I live in Michigan and drove to the Joe to support my Penguins, of all my Red Wings friends (and unfortunately I have a lot) none have gone to any playoff games (for really reasonable prices too! A lot cheaper than I had to pay for Penguins home games, not to mention the gas!)
So shut up about the economy and get to realizing that your fan base sucks (all your good fans are from Ontario anyways!)

We thank-you for buying tickets. Definitely Detroit is going through economic tough times because of focus on Automotive. Pittsburgh went through the same economic set back focused on steel only until they shift toward Health Care.

He can lay down next to all the Red Wings fans who can't even shell out face value to go to the cup finals. You should thank the Pens fans for supporting the Detroit economy. Maybe now you can replace a couple windows in your buildings and homes. The series is not over and neither is the rivalry. The Pens are a very young team and will be back, win or lose.
