Where is Noah'a Ark? In Turkey where most think?

The Biblical text points to the west of the land of Shinar (Babylon) and the traditional site of Mt Ararat in Turkey was named after the Biblical period. The word Ararat, the name of the mountain on which Noah's ark settled, comes from the Urartu. The Urartu were a confederation of indigenous tribes who settled east of Babylon and west of the Caspian Sea in the northwestern area of present day Iran.

Explorer Bob Cornuke (interviewed in this video) may have have found something in Northern Iran.

"In July 2005 and June 2006, I traveled with BASE teams and found the object believed to be the Ed Davis object perched on a ridge at 13,120 feet. The team also found a worship shrine, the shrine and wood fragments were located at the 15,000 foot elevation and some samples were taken for analysis.

Fossilized clams were also found there in abundance on an adjoining mountain peak at 14, 000 feet. Thousands of samples littered the whole mountain top. Some say that up-thrust over millions of years caused the shells to be present at such a high elevation. Others have suggested that they were grown during the great flood."

  • Nice! And what is that MUSIC!?! I love it.

  • Thanks!

Bach's Concerto for 2 violins and Orchestra III Allegro BWV 1043

  • now after the flood the earth would have been totally decimated, why wouldnt Noah and his sons make use of all of the wood (all other trees and wood would have been uplifted, buried, destroyed) and make use of all the other matirals of and on the Ark, why are we so convinced that he didnt when all the circumstantial evidence would point to Noah and his people needing matiral? Also to offer offerings which they were to do right away...

  • check out the links, he found an altar on the mountain in N.Iran.

  • Very interesting. I have always been fascinated by this subject, and also by what has happened to the Ark of the Covenant. I have my doubts that the Ethiopians actually have it. But who knows. Perhaps one day we will actually find the remains of the Noah's Ark. If it could be found in a state that makes it unmistakably the Ark of Noah, can you imagine the impact upon the world it would have? It would be astounding.

  • Rumor has it is in Ethiopia to be returned when the temple is rebuilt.

  • The Tradional site of Mt. Ararat wasn't created in the 14th Century. Actualy, it is written about as far back as 425 AD. By Philostorgius.

Mt Ararat isn't a "Lone peak". Little Arrat sits next to it at 12,877 feet as well as the extinct volcano Ala Göz and Aragatz and other Armenian mountains 13,435 feet that are easily visible from Ararat.

  • At any time during at least the 100-300 years after the flood, the peoples could have easily moved from where the Ark landed to other locations east or west of Shinar [Babylonia] before the Tower of Babel story took place.

  • Jesus Christ, I can't believe adults actually believe this story is literally true to the point of wasting their lives looking for it. Sad. What next, looking for Excalibur? Fucking insane.

  • I think if the Ark was found, it would set a new tone, the bible Vs Science. I think if the Ark was found by the wrong people, their would be a cover up, just like how they have been trying for years to cover up and hide the bones of the Nephilim Giants.

  • too bad Noah isn't the real name of the man who built the ship that saved his life...look it up in the Epic of Gilgamesh....around 6000 bc there were several floods around the world...doggerland, the baltic, the americas

  • Beautiful music from JS Bach, but Mount Ararat is Mount Ararat.

  • @bigwhammyRocks Ah! I KNEW that had to be Bach! Recognized the style. Nice touch! ; )

  • @NephilimFree good point.

  • @bradzdestroyer I'm not convinced yet. I'm waiting to see what further evidence arises.

  • @NephilimFree well they found it now. but no major impact.

  • @jesseakers I imagine there would be plenty of trees left and many trees already uprooted and laying around everywhere and ready to cut up and use as lumbar. I think the wood (trees) could survive 6 months of being in water. I would not want to tear the ark apart after all the work building it, just incase you need it again. (even though God said he would not destroy Humans via flooding the earth again.)

  • Update--this just in: Noah's Ark has been found...on the Moon. The Biblical Flood raised the water level on the Earth so high that it lifted the Ark to the Moon, where it now rests on the Sea of Tranquility. Satellite photos prove this. More details to come. Stay tuned.
