Alright, so this past Saturday, I went on a trip to the more ethnic communities of Dorchester, Mass, via the Trolley Line. They were shelling free trolley rides since the subway line was shut for station renovations, and there was a free shuttle from the Ashmont trolley terminal to the JFK U/MASS station. That being said, I hopped on the PCC Trolley (c. WWII?) and recorded the track. It's around 3 or 4 miles long and it covers 8 stations, taking a total of 5 minutes, end-to-end. I set the video up at around 2x speed and set it to

  • "High Speed Line" is a special term for trolleys and rail cars that make limited stops (sometimes "on demand only") and generally have their own dedicated "right of way" meaning that they do not share it with other traffic. So the rail LINE is fast, ...not necessarily the rail cars.
