People hated Bruce Hornsby? What silliness. This is precisely the reason I never got involved with Grateful Dead culture. The band they presented was the band you got. You show up, pay your money down, and take what you get. Some shows were better than others, but I always went to see the Grateful Dead, not some idealized fantasy of what I thought they were supposed to be. I went to one of these Bruce Hornsby shows. He was great. The band was glad to have him there.That was good enough for me.

People hated Bruce Hornsby on this tour.I guess because he didn't shoot herion or do hard drugs.You have to admit he is a little clean cut to be behind a keyboard playing for the Grateful dead.

I never realized that Hornsby and Vince played simultaneously. No I wasn't there, no Im not cool enough to know that anyway. Please don't anyone jump down my throat or insult me for not being old or born in the back of a van in Humboldt County. Thanks to the guy who posted the video. I'll go back to Custy-land now where we only get schwagg and have to pay full price for your left over unrefrigerated burritos.
