The Future of Autism

"The Future of Autism" video opened the Autism Society's 40th National Conference on Autism Spectrum Disorders on July 23, 2009. Exploring the history of the Autism Society and looking toward what the future holds for autism, it features interviews with the Autism Societys first elected president, Ruth Christ Sullivan; Sondra Cunningham, founder and current president of the Autism Society's DC Chapter; Stephen Shore, an Autism Society board member and person on the spectrum; Valerie Paradiz, Panel of People on the Spectrum of Autism Co-Chair; and Martha Herbert, Autism Society director of treatment-guided research.
