Ravel's Menuet sur le nom d'Haydn, composed 1909 to celebrate the centenary of Haydn's death. Haydn's name is encoded into the piece, and can be heard most clearly in the top part of the opening four bars.
This is my own recording. If you like (or don't!) please leave a rating or comment, and subscribe to my channel (I intend to post more recordings and some of my own compositions soon).

@jbell34 Thank you. I feel that with a faster tempo the intricate details of the piece are lost, though perhaps a Haydn menuet would often have a slightly faster tempo than this. The music only comes out of the left speaker for me as well; I was not very experienced with recording when I made this, so it may be to do with my stereo microphone being at an angle or strange levels.

Sounds good. I like your tempo. Some people play this work too fast as you can tell from some of the other recordings on YouTube. For some reason the music is only comming out of the left speaker.
