It's now time to work out the length of the drivechain for the Electric Varadero.

  • You can also use a straight edge with corresponding offset blocks to do the alignment....clamp it to to rear sprocket and align the front to the other offset....8^)

  • Nice one! I am going to wait until the chain arrives before securing anything. In the meantime I can still work on the other components of the motor mount / battery cage.

  • Hey Andy, Nice work! Can you please share your calculations for sizing the motor (calculations for power required)? And also please share the calculations for front and rear sprocket sizes you chose. Rear sprocket looks little too large to me.
