  • @lionslicer9999 - 100% correct! There have been very few BLOCKING fullbacks who deserve to go into the Hall of Fame... Don't know if we'll ever see one.... Too bad.

  • @BigIrishman16 Offensive linemen make it into the hall of fame.. you'd think blocking fullbacks could get there too. But saddly they don't.

  • @Darkkoji45 - I agree that he should be there... but I doubt that he will... Voters just don't vote in guys on their blocking, leadership, toughness, hard work or anything else like that... Didn't have 10,000 yards or 85 TDs so he can't get it. It's a shame. He deserves it and he IS a Hall of Fame FOOTBALL PLAYER!

  • O:

    mack strong my teachers brother!!!!

    O_O

  • I doubt that he'll make it to Canton. Not because he doesn't deserve it (I think he does) but because he played his entire career with the Seahawks. The only other player to play in Seattle for a substantial amount of time and make the Hall of Fame was Steve Largent, and he had to set every major receiving record to do so. I doubt they'll let Strong in. He just didn't get very many touches. I think he averaged just over two touches a game. It's a shame pancake blocks aren't a stat.

  • mack is a special player, workaholic, very calm, polite as hell, always have a smile on his face. respect to mr.strong

  • He was a class act and a great blocker. My fav was John L. Williams

  • Agreed. Huge part of the team and my favorite player for a while. Thank god though for Owen Schmitt! No offense to Weaver but he really isn't a fullback so much as a runner. Schmitt is gonna brutalize defenses throughout his career with the Seahawks.

  • Best fullback to ever catch a swing pass that I've seen. We used that play a lot, and now if we don't have it, the fans are going to hate whoever is in the FB slot for the next 5 years.
