@c0d3x5 also.. the floor needs to move up and down to a degree with intereaction to the virtual camera. so when the user actually takes 3 steps out the floor drops one foot below them giving them that feeling between feet and floor contact disaparence created an ultimatr stomach rush.. then the cable needs to adjust their posistion as they leep foward and suspend them airborn, ,while a fan blows air onto their face.. thats vitural.. not this bs... BOOO

this is the stupidest virtual reality ever... i had an idea in my head and researched this.. and i laughed.. why not actually have the person move around also with feet, not just stand there straight up and down whehn they are actually falling through air horizontally.. BOO... the person actually needs to make real steps to exit the plane, and then jump forward in a horizontal posistion or any posistion they want, and attached to them will be a cable to suspend them not move them but suspend the

I believe I saw a very similar demo to this at SIGGRAPH 2004- although that time I think it was a swimming virtual reality.
