This is what happens when you follow the instructions for a back carry in a Kari-Me exactly - it was as tight as it would be for a front carry, my son was completely enclosed with his arms restrained under the shoulder passes. He is 16 months and 11.5kg in the video which is well within their specified weight and age range for this carry. (Over 12 months and up to 15kg)

  • What a lovely little baby letting you move him about. I had forgotten how to use it as bought with my first child. Very helpful thank you

  • @scarlets101 - I hope your comment just reads differently to me than you meant it! Please don't do this carry! I made this video to show how dangerous the carry is, and emailed it to Kari-Me themselves who, after a long campaign by a number of qualified babywearing consultants and concerned parents, are reportedly going to remove this carry from their manual in the next print run.

  • Great video you followed the instruction in the manual but because of the nature of the fabric once they take their arms out the wrap just rolls down. ... Highlighting why back carries should not be done with a stretch wrap
