@CHUTZPA519 The training methods that Spetsnaz GRU go through are often illegal in most Western countries, and most Spetsnaz deaths have occured through training and not in actual combat, same goes for the SAS. A US Marine is amphibious infantry and on par with most line infantry units around the world - Spetsnaz are a highly trained special operations group trained in unconventional warfare, not line infantry. Most yank marines would be too pussy to even attempt Spetsnaz selection.
