It's just a matter of time that China will be top dog. Even today the British PM is in China begging for investment and the USA will follow suit. We need a strong China to counterbalance American aggression which in turn will lead to a safer world. A these American Air craft carries are nothing but sitting ducks to powerful nations like China and Russia. In 10 years time China will have a bigger economy than the USA...I like that.

I feel it would be in the best interest of all American citizens if our government finds a way to force China in a war with another country in order to weaken their motivation for dominance within the pacific

yeah That sounds nice when you type it but knowing the policies of the United States. the only result of this happening is further hostility between ussr and american alies.

So, who do you think would be able to deal better with starvation - Chinese or Americans?
Starvation wouldn't be new to the Chinese. But for the USA?
(And we all know the "dietary" habits of people there...)

I don't think there would be was between the big world powers, but if there is - it would be nothing like what's happening in the world right now.
Saddest thing: the world will keep pouring resources in the military race instead of treating actual issues and tragedies...
