@timbosforporn Oh I don't disagree with that at all. It is entirely up to the doer. Technically, I have the freedom to be a serial killer. But the government will kill me for it. Same goes for religion. So yes, technically, you do have the freedom to be at whatever religious standard you set for yourself down in Iran. But you will be punished for it.

It's called Theocracy: where government is ran by religion. Back in the day, Europe was ruled by the Church. Nowadays, in Iran, they have a theocratic republic. Similar to our executive branch, they have a branch of officials that decide if your actions are in line with the Islamic law. If you commit a sin, you die.

The freedom of religion is not created by law since religion is simply thoughts someone has about spirituality so it emanates from our own internal thinking. We have this freedom because our internal thoughts are freely created within our own consciousness. No person has control over those thoughts which means that no person can determine our own will which makes it something that functions freely.
