is it only me that thinks that when he gets into it it looks like he's climaxing

@JoeJacari Oh God... please tell me you're trolling. If not, you aren't a drummer, are you? Travis is all about speed, loudness, bells and whistles, and hitting multiple drums as fast as possible. But technically wise, he doesn't lay a finger on Steve Gadd. It sounds simpler because Steve usually only is utilizing 3 drums at a time, but if you tried to do this, your brain would explode.

@eldorado96 Pretty sure he's just joking.

@eldorado96 kenny is one hell of a rock drummer .

@JoeJacari Sorry, TB is great at what he does, but he couldn't carry Steve Gadd's jockstrap. He's all abs & showmanship and pretty average on real technique. And I say that without even knowing all that much about Steve Gadd, but I've paid attention ever since he appeared on Steely Dan''s Aja album (on vinyl, of course.) If I need a dose of drums being skillfully manhandled, I'll go to Kenny Aronoff.

@JoeJacari well you gotta point, screaming chicks! most serious drummers don't get those LOL.

This is cool. But, umm...Barker. Dudes, scope out Travis Barker: upside down solo with chicks screaming and general mayhem going on. This is cha cha and bing bing. Travis is manhandling the drums like a big player. Gadd is good but I hear choppy drums and stuff. Barker is smoothola king. Fast. Smooth. Screaming ladies and guitar riffs galore. Gadd's OK though. You know. Cha chee cymbals and big band schmaltz, steak, cigs, Vegas, buffets, and what not.
I love the way he handled the band missing his cue!
