  • why not use autostick. Ive found if you let off the gas when you shift it makes it a ton quicker

  • @jomccarty With all due respect, the Caliber FEALS faster when your jolted by slamming into fixed ratios simulating a fixed transmission, BUT if you are scientific about it and actually measure it, you will find 0-60 is faster in normal mode, just stomping it to the floor letting it hit redline. I have measured it with a performance comptuer, and tried mutiple ways, autostick is actually slower. Measure it, youll find out fealings and actual timing is different.

  • Nice car man! :D I kinda like the idea of CVT in a daily driver. Nice and "smooth"

  • @racerxgt1 Its definatly not a fast car, but the cvt makes that steep torque cerve a 4 cylender has and makes it flat like a V12, silky smoothe

  • The point of this video was to demonstrate how the car sounds at full throttle with the high flow mopar filter installed.

  • @n9iagalbert well our caliber has 85000 mile and at about 60k is when i noticed the autostick being better insteadd of worse sorry i wasnt more specific

  • @G3TLOOSHemi 172 hp state of the art VVT DOHC direct injected 2.4L is one of the most powerfull naturally asparated 4's available, AND its about 3200 pounds, so I dont see how the hp is the issue.

  • @n9iagalbert your are correct i have driven mine in blizzards when the plows had been pulled off the streets this car handels the snow and ice very well . and the room that you get when you put the 60/40 seats down is amazing i do agree it needs abetter 4 or a v6

  • nice caliber check out mines with K&N and more.

  • Love the car, its great in the snow, it handeles grate with a 4 wheel in dependant suspension like preformance crars have, it has a lot of interior space as I dont need a truck, but this car can hall a lot of stuff when needed, its innexpensive. Its only weakness is its slow, it needs a v6.
