anybody who hasnt seen kid stays in the picture trust me on this one, see it its an awesome, unbelievable documentary. and its probably flying under the radar. go out and find it!

Robert Towne should have used Evans in "The Two Jakes" instead of Harvey Keitel, as was originally planned.
The movie flopped because of this bizarre decision.
Evans would have provided the chemistry and cunning to carry the role, and be a strong-enough dueling foil to Nicholson's dissolute Jake Gittes.
Just the voice alone would have been the perfect sonic sequel to John Huston's own unique mordant tone in the original flick.
A classic, classy guy.
