Thats pure awesomeness! One question, does the seat kill you if you crash though?
-
do your projectors go bad after bouncing around so much? i would think the bulbs themselves might break, and anyone who has a projo knows them babies aint cheap.

anywhere to mount a shifter and handbrake on there? also noticed there's no tachometer
-
You might want a damn good lid on your cup if they do...
-
Heheh they replaced g-force with tilting back. So what that formula is on hard suspension:p The simulator driver feels more like inside jeep:)
-
does it have a cup holder?
-
ohh shit..i have built the controller for wiper
-
@farad0x theres a hidden pistol in the seat if you crash a robot arm will activate and shot u in the head.
-
How much? Where can I buy this.

A racing sim-center is getting ready to open next to UCF in orlando that will have 8 of these type of simulators linked together to start then have 16 within a few months for sim leagues and tournaments or even just practice play with rfactor and iracing software!!!! should be open by the end of the year!! It is going to be freaking addicting!!! Instead of joining a flag football league you can join a racing league. There will also be heat race style tournaments!! feature winner wins money!
what caused the crash at 3:43???? i think it could have been the yaw auto-returning to center while he was approaching that turn, causing him to miscalculate everything. or else he did it on purpose to show a crash.

Nope, not the cecenter. I just got too aggressive. The car was set up to be very, very loose and with almost no downforce in order to make it slide more, so controlling it at all was a trick. The way I was driving there, it was bound to happen sooner or later. :)

And when I tweak an FZR an make it hit 2 gs lateral? Can it simulate 2 G's??^^

Nope - physics limits us to about .7gs lateral sustained simulated load. The 'quick' cues - jerk, vertical, and so forth - can be much sharper. And those, plus the big display, help trick you into thinking you're experiencing more than you really are.
