  • how much hp you think??

  • 275-300 max

Should be plenty for what I plan.

  • Is your 311 an overbored 307? Ran one hard for 7 years-unbreakable motor. It pulled my 67 Impala around with ease. You know how heavy those are.

  • It`s a 305 ,bored .030 over ......not a bad engine.

  • sounds like a beast man! is that a 400ci motor? how much did you spend to get it rebuilt like that?

  • I have way less than a grand in it,I did the work on it myself and it is a 311 c.i. small block.

  • I'll say it again and everyone who knows carbs will tell you,. Qjets are the best carbs when dialed in. Power, mpg and drivability. Ask the experts don't take my word for it.

  • nice sound

  • @tamapalagi you can't beat the power of a holley

  • @shawnlee28

Check out my vids that I have a my 1967 chevelle. Original 283 small block chevy, and she is sweet. Only thing I did to it is put a new carb, manifold and distributor on it. 67K miles on the car.

  • @yamahafreak125 if you bore a motor, its number goes up......a 350 bored 30 over is a 355, and stroking increases the number too, a stroked 350 is a 377, and bored/stroked 350 is a 383

  • @kstanneart i agree....i own a suburban with a 305, and a suburban with a 350, needless to say, the 305 sub is for parts

  • @tamapalagi

Wellmy Q- Jet is not dailed in and I had it rebulit and I'm still not happy with it even tho my 305 is stock from the factory I still think it should run better than what it is I just not happy with them!!!

  • I have q-jet on my 305 but its all factory its a 86 gmc but my carb has been rebuilt and it still not up tp speed i think i wasted my money on the rebuild of it.

  • well i have a organial Q-jet on my 305 and isnt worth 2 pennys I had it rebuilt and nobody in my town know how to adjust them for what i want so if anybody has any ??? let me know thank you

  • 305 are thee worst motors chevy ever made. They are just not worth my time. 350 is thee best engine chevy ever made.

  • I have Two motors, a 307, and a 544 big block. Im doing a very mild build on the small block for the street and to hold me over untill my big block is done! LOL, lots of work left. Im into drag racing, the car wont be streetable In the end. I think that for what im doing, a 307 is a prety good motor, but it will never beat my big block, or any for that matter, just my opinion!
