Brand doesn't matter! what ever does the job works just fine! especially if you're a beginner. not only that, not everyone has a fat pocket that can afford more expensive brands. i don't want anyone to feel they're secluded from learning how to look great! they are many great ways to look glamorous on a budget. SHOW OFFS AREN'T WANTED! ;)

Where to find brushes for a great price:

1. CVS
2. Rite-Aid
3. Duane Reade
4. Beauty Supply Stores
5. Target

and some are just floating around in places you don't expect!

  • i LOVE my essences if beauty brushes but i hate how there is a brush on both ends b,c its hard for me to store them

  • not all of them are like that. i suggest you look for the regular ones!

  • where did you get the eyebrow brush that came with the eyeliner brush on the other side?

  • CVS

  • yeah i kinda came up with it. brand-whore is basically someone who just buys brand named things or expensive things.

  • the brush set that came in the plastic pop-up thing doesn't really say anything on them so i wouldn't know. but the other pack i showed is by Studio Basics. i'm glad we both can relate!

  • I agree :-) im a random grabber whatever grabs my eye ill grab try and give my review :-) but i have my moments when im a brand whore lol too

  • The brushes on 3:24, i got it from walmart and i only bought it for $10

  • The very first drug store makeup brushes I ever bought was quite a few years ago, they were Prestige makeup brushes, I still have all of them and they still look brand spanking new, they're excellent quality like my Essence of beauty brushes. I haven't seen any vids featuring the Prestige brushes.

  • girl i know exactly what you mean! I have children and i really feel bad when i think of buying a pricey make up brush.

  • lol you said brand whore. You are too funny and down to earth. love your videos

  • lol you have guts! I'm not a brand whore either I just don't see it. But I love your video.

  • well said a brush is a brush to me as long as it works for me. I am a beginner and I dont believe in spending 50 bucks for a pack of brushes, your vid very informative.

  • That's true, I bought some of those CVS brushes, Essence of Beauty and they are great!!! They work pretty good.

  • Yep I love essence of beauty..from cvs..I use them as well....great video though...
