Facing a staggering deficit, increasingly unpopular overseas engagements and no clear resolution over the nuclear fallout with Iran, some Americans are becoming increasingly disillusioned with the Obama administration. Pat Buchanan, the Washington political commentator and former Presidential advisor, gives RT his take on what seems to be going wrong.

Here's a fact: Every candidate running for the GOP nomination, with the exception of Ron Paul, is in support of implementing more serious sanctions on nuclear and military activity (an act of war) on Iran. Iran has openly made statements that these sanctions bring us towards war. China and Russia have opted to defend Iran if an unnecessary war is started. So, Dr. Paul is the one with the "loony" foreign policy? The way I see it, he is the only candidate willing to avoid causing a world war.
