Got to love those early '90s lofts of irons. Clubs are so delofted now its ridiculous no wonder the average handicap has remained the same for the last 40 years, dispite the improvements in technology. Longer shafted clubs with less loft on them and we wonder why people cant hit them. Since 2000 the average iron has been delofted between 4-6 degrees throughout the set, its a shame really.
